Went and got the Eos 5D. No learning a new bit of kit for me. I might get replaced in September, but I don’t care. Went into Brum and tried Jessops, not much use tbh. The only had the kit, which was £80 more than Jacobs anyway. Went to Jacobs, asked if they’d price match T4 Cameras in Swindon. Instead of the £1519 price match, they offer £1550. Done deal as I really didn’t want to drive anywhere.
Also just in time for the £100 cashback, which expires 30th June. Only disappointment was the lack of the battery grip. Amazon had sold the last one, so ordered it from Cameras2u (ie Jessops). Currently it’s on hold awaiting address verification as I asked for it to be sent to my Mom and Dad.
