Yes folks it’s that time of the year when all the blogs that know (fuck all) post guesses about the new Canon cameras. So without breaking from this bi-annual event thought I’d post my own made up specs.
Right, with the EF1200 being a right expensive cunt Canon are about to release the stunning new EF1200 f/1 IS DO Teasmaid. Sourced from the finest bullshit, it is a lens that makes tea. But not very good tea (just like any other teasmaid then). Made up picture…..
Although it is a 1200mm the Superb DO optics (sourced from the rarest of Smirnoff Black Label Vokda bottles) mean the lens is a compact model. So small infact Canon couldn’t be arsed with knocking out a new body. They had a surplus of 300mm f/4 shells which has come in handy. Currently the retail price is not known, but after a couple of bottles of Grolsch it seems to be around the £800 mark.
Hot on the heals of this bullshit comes the stunning Canon EOS 2D. 28megapixel CCD sensor. Still no in Camera IS just to keep the Sony/Pentax/Olympus fanboys happy. The camera boasts an impresive 30fps and comes with a tethered Cray mainframe to help speed up the data transfer.
Originally designed by Tibetan monks the 2D is a camera to set the standard for the next 6 weeks. Which should coincide with the speculation about the next Canon 1.5D or even the .89D which will piss over every thing.
