New Feature – Cheapo Wine reviews

So, I must be getting middle class. Don’t worry I will never read the D*ily M*il or the Torygraph (unless I know they’ve published any of my stuff, unlikely, but I need that clause!). The basic rule for wine review is it must be on offer at Tesco, Morrison, Sainsburys (unlikely to visit Asda as it’s shit) and Waitrose.

Anyway, first up:

Jacobs Creek, Three Vines – Shiraz, Cabernet & Tempranillo.

Right, I’m no wine ponce but here goes.

A nice fruity blend which leaves the mouth with a nice tingle. Didn’t go too well with the BBQ Beef Hoola Hoops nor the Salt and Vinegar flavour either. But it did complement the Davidstow strong chedder. Price was around £4 from Tesco.

Wine

Overall, a nice flavoured wine which goes down well. Nothing too special, but not too harsh.

Kebablog rating (out of 5):

  1. LOL! I’d love to team up and do a guest review spot/team up. Perhaps combine it with a really bad zombie movie. Good wine and bad movies go together so well!
