SEO Spam

I have a fairly limited web presence, my photography website is fairly unknown to the world to be honest. But hold on a minute, something has arrived in my inbox……..

crap

….so there we have it the answer to all my dreams. Now Janice (assuming that’s actually your name) I have noticed a slight problem with your email. I’m assuming if you’re so great at Search Engine Optimisation then your website name would come at the top of searches (oops what website name?). After all you’ve helped ‘hundreds of companies’ increase their traffic. You promise to be straight forward and affordable.

I assume you are very cheap as you’ve not figured out how to get an email address to match your name. I could of course be incorrect and you are called Jim Guthie (using Gmail), but are called Janice at the weekends. Sorry Janice/Jim using an email service which can’t be tracked isn’t something I’m going to reply to.

For information I’m using a PHP webform which sends the emails to a special mailbox. The user (Jim or Jan in this case) enter the BS message and submits the form to me. It needs a valid email address for the form to work.

So there we have it, probably a fairly uninteresting post but just be careful who you reply to.
