Scanners – no not the Cronenberg one. Film types, no wait he’s a film type one as well. oh bugger.

Anyway, scanning time again. Hand to forehead concentrate and bam..

No, must stop.

So in the meantime, whilst returning from my fantasy world of death by thought I’ve been playing with the film scanner again. This time concentrating on my old black and white set from the old Bullring (1970’s edition).

I’ve not setup a gallery area yet, as I need to do a few changes. But if you really want to see the whole set, visit my flickr link

The eyes

O.k. they’re not Birmingham pictures as promised (well sort of, they were taken in Brum).

Digging round the recent files used on CS3 (on the Macbook. Found some eye shots.

Thought I’d go with the black and white, but with one colour effect (Probably has a correct technique name, but I’m bollocksed if I know what it is).

Old Images part 2

So, got into a groove now with this scanner.

St Ives at Night, probably my all time favourite image Probably my all time favourite image.  Taken with the Lubitel, also took the same image on print film.  It did come out rather poorly (possibly due to the print process.  I’ll have to dig it out for the scanner).
