I like the image, might have over processed it a bit but I actually like the end result.

Lie back and enjoy Junction 6, aka A38/M6 Interchange, aka Spaghetti Junction.
So I did, I’ve tinkered with the images a little as contrast between grey concrete and bright (ish) sky made for either over exposed sky or under exposed concrete. Anyway images….
I try to be truthful in my imagery, o.k. I clone out dust and apply filters. On occasion I’ll remove wires, or crop an image to remove obstacles. Now that’s about the lot for me. Take the following image…..
It’s pretty much as I took it, only played with levels. I had some nice comments from a Judge about this, but one thing he mentioned is that it doesn’t flow from left to right, which is the way we read. O.k. I think it does, but to test the theory I’ve flipped it……
I don’t think he’s right, for me the main focus points are leading from top right to bottom left. Now I’ve flipped the image it’s not long an honest image. I took the picture, so I know that it’s not what I saw. So what do you think?
Put the date in your diary, because April 23rd (according to wikipedia) is the day the Sinclair Spectrum was released way back in 1982. So with that in mind, here’s some stock images I recently shot………
Tis the time of year when the photographic world heads to the NEC for Focus on Imaging 2012.
It started off quite grim…..
The big draw today was the Eos 5D MkIII, which drew a fairly large crowd, in the words of Charlie Hamilton James it was like the Pope had come to town.
As the 5D MkIII not available to buy just yet I didn’t spend any money. There was plenty of temptation. I’m leaning towards getting an old Eos 1D (would like a 1D MkIII, but may settle for a 1D MkII N). However I still have my old 5D’s to shift.
So on to purchases for the day. Actually I didn’t.
That’s all I grabbed today.
