Decision made (oh no, not another one of these posts)

So after a bit of indecision I made my mind up. I do want an iPad. After playing around with the iPad in the Apple store in Touchwood it made my decision for me. So I want a 32gb iPad, not too sure if I want the 3G version though. I’ve had a look at the 3G model and it seems to work well. Only issue I have is the stock. It’s not available at present, though I can join an iQue at the Apple store. But I think I’ll wait until John Lewis get them in. However this may be 2 months away as DSGi (Currys/PCShed) appear to have a 60 day exclusive deal and I will not spend money there.

So I want, but I have to wait. I might even save up!

Back, and I bought the nice weather with me

I’m back, and i’m married again (well just the vows anyway). Had a nice holiday, very hot (for me) and very relaxing.

So I won’t bore you too much with holiday snaps but here they are…….

There you go, wasn’t too harmful was it.  I can bore you more on request.

Too Hot and other stuff

For those that know me, you know I don’t do heat (apart from when I go on holiday). So the last few days have been bloody hot, too bloody hot. Please rain soon.

A side note is that the foil insulation I put in the loft seems to be o.k. It’s just the bleedin velux windows that turn in to radiators (even with the blackout/solar blind). So I’m sitting rather unattractively in my shorts and no shirt. I’ve even been to Micheals booze market at the Yew Tree to get lager (though this is for the CIB un-launch party later). So please people do a rain dance for the chubby gingers who burn in this weather.

As mentioned above, today is the sort of closing day for the CIB shop in the bullring. It’s done really well, creating a outlet for the Creative People in the Birmingham area. The shop was generously let for nothing by the Bullring, now someone wants to move in. A bit sad, but good that someone wants to open a retail outlet in Brum.

Is it the end?

Probably not, the hard working creators of CIB are taking a well earned rest, and hopefully something should happen maybe later on in the year. As for me, well I’ve treated it as a project. Currently on April’s figures I’m losing money (-2 quid), but I’ve invested a bit to get it going. All I have to do is sell one my image and I’m back in profit. Hopefully May will be a good month. Still it’s been enjoyable and it’s nice to know several people out there like my images enough to buy one (and one of them was from the Twang! or a good lookalike).

I may decide to sell at a few art fairs but may have a nose around at a few first. Right, this bloody loft is too hot and I’m not going to be typing in my pants, so I’m off.

Things (a generic update post)

Cold again: nothing too bad though. Actually surprised I managed 2 weeks of bike riding before the body rejected exercise. Still feeling better today than yesterday, so hopefully I can resume my fitness training tomorrow (or Tuesday).

Xboxless: This one lasted longer than the previous one, as I actually used it. Though only used if for a few days and then it sat unused since January. Sold the console for £130 and a couple of games for £36. Still got Forza 3 to shift. Probably will loose about £40 since purchase which isn’t too bad I guess.

Indecision: So with the money from the post above I have around £175 to spend on things. I did buy a DS XL but took it back as I didn’t think a great deal of it (Resolution is still the same as the normal DS, so some things looked messy). I *may* look at a HD freeview box (actually just thought of it!).

/edit: Cold got worse, now cold has been escalated to Bloke Flu level 2.
