Finally i’ve been offered my existing job.  However the offer comes with the need to fill in an application form.  The application form is the usual please write the bullshit we require.  And its at this point were I know I need to fill this in, but I just can motivate myself to do this.

Of course after the application comes the interview, to be honest it’s crap really.  I’ve done the job on and off (in between project work) for almost 2 years.  But it has to done officially, by officially this means internal advert.  This in turn is applied to by people who really are not suitable for the job.  But good old union time wasting has to be adhered to.

Though to totally forget this cack, I’ll be visiting The Flash Centre in Birmingham today.  Canon are meant to showing the Eos 1D Mark III today, it would be rude not to attend.

Whilst not at all related to the days rant, have a picture of a cute Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

Yep, it’s Monday and I feel fully motivated for the week ahead.  Got up at 08:30 really couldn’t be bothered.  Still I managed to get in to work.  Seriously I need to get another career, or win the lottery.  However a career change is probably more likely.

As I was working in Birmingham city centre today, thought I’d let the train take the strain. So early start (for me!), got to the station by 07:40 – only to hear of the delay to the 07:47 service. Initially the delay was 25 mins, so i waited for a while. The delay then went to 37 minutes, so refunded my ticket and drove into the city. Walking back to the car, the delay increased to 41 mins. So i’m guessing it gets to an hour then its cancelled.

Have to spend and extra £5 or so on car parking so thanks central trains. We wont mourn your passing when the francise is up. Ars*holes

O.k. as regular readers (well me) will see, indecision is a current theme. This time work.

Well i’ve been asked for a figure to be taken on as full time staff, I know the pay scale they are offering and its great. Currently is about 10k more than my last permanent position (albiet without a company car – so realistically its more like 7-8k).

So I’m undecided now whether to get employed or stay the way I am.

Right,  its happened again.  I still would like a 1D!  Might scrub the flash (as i’ve already got the 380EX) and the fisheye (great lens but would it get used?).

No doubt I’ll change my mind again.
