….yet another one.<\/p>\n

I have a dilemma, well I don’t actually but to humour me lets say I have.<\/p>\n

My MacBook is over 2 years old, still it’s great does what I want it to do.\u00a0 It still looks in good condition (apart from the hairline cracks – but that’s normal for a Polycarbonate MacBook).\u00a0 The only thing wrong with it is it’s not new, shiney, aluminium and doesn’t say MacBook Pro on the front.<\/p>\n

Now for the totally predictable sums weighted in favour of me buying a MacBook Pro*<\/p>\n

RRP \u00a3899 – I should get it for around \u00a3808<\/p>\n

Norwich Union\/Aviva want to give me \u00a3736 for voting yes to something.<\/p>\n

Leaving me \u00a372 to find.<\/p>\n

After this I could then flog my original MacBook for \u00a3400 or so (based on Ebay prices).<\/p>\n

So I’ll be \u00a3328 up on the deal.<\/p>\n

Though potentially I’ve now lost any future voting rights with Aviva, but that’s financials and to be fair I’ve always been crap at them.<\/p>\n

……nice shiney objects.\u00a0 Maybe I was a magpie in a previous incarnation.\u00a0 Not that I believe in such stuff, but if it exists then I may have been a relative of the Crow family.\u00a0 Which is probably better than being a member of Lighthouse Family.<\/p>\n

* This is the 13″ MacBook Pro, which is probably like the BMW X3 of laptops.\u00a0 Whilst it’s fully functional, it’s just not a real Pro.\u00a0 So if I was to be a pimp\/drug dealer then the MacBook Pro 17″ would be fine in my hypothetical BMW X5 (aka TosserCar).\u00a0 Still I’m not one of those, but I may consider the 15″ MacBook Pro, but that’s a silly \u00a3400 more.<\/p>\n
