Initially waiting for the Eos 1 Mk III, however the current AF problems coupled with the cost and availability has got me looking at a more familiar route.\u00a0 This being the 5D.<\/p>\n
Currently the 5D and 24-105 kit is available at the ridiculously low price of \u00a31,999.\u00a0 Body only for \u00a31,599, so a \u00a3600 lens for \u00a3400.\u00a0 Plus there is \u00a3130 cashback off that as well (\u00a3100 Body, \u00a330 lens).\u00a0 However the dilemma, I don’t need the 24-105 as I already have it.<\/p>\n
That said, it is such a bargain a profit from Ebay could still be made. \u00a0 But undecided if I want to go down that route.\u00a0 The cheapest in-stock body is \u00a31519 from T4 in Swindon.\u00a0 So an \u00a380 quid saving if I drove down.\u00a0 But the reality is I’d use \u00a340 of petrol to travel down, so best to avoid it.<\/p>\n
Another option is to look at the 5D and 24-70 f\/2.8 kit, though this is \u00a32,230.\u00a0 So more money than I wanted to spend.\u00a0 Probably the best bargain I’ve seen is BG-4 grip from Amazon for \u00a3134.\u00a0 Probably the best option is visit a shop and see what I can get.\u00a0 Someone *might* do a deal on a 5D body, grip, EX580 Flash and a bigger bag.<\/p>\n
Overall I’d still love a 1D, it’s pro-spec and indeed is the dogs bollocks.\u00a0 But maybe once I start to get a return then I’ll buy.\u00a0 At the moment it seems common sense might prevail.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
