{"id":451,"date":"2008-10-13T22:52:49","date_gmt":"2008-10-13T22:52:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kebablog.co.uk\/?p=451"},"modified":"2009-08-14T13:40:50","modified_gmt":"2009-08-14T13:40:50","slug":"wireless-is-it-me-or-is-it-shit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.kebablog.co.uk\/?p=451","title":{"rendered":"Wireless &#8211; is it me, or is it shit?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So as title, I find wireless to be a bit of hit\/miss technology.\u00a0\u00a0 Maybe it&#8217;s just my kit, but it fails too often for my liking.<\/p>\n<p>My wireless if strange, it seems to be up and working (cos the LED says so) right up to the point where I connect my Macbook.\u00a0\u00a0 It&#8217;s not just the MB, as my DS used to do it as well (before I decided to use WPA instead of WEP).\u00a0\u00a0 Currently it just takes the piss, claiming that it is working when it plainly isn&#8217;t.\u00a0 I would hit it, but it&#8217;s the only router I have.\u00a0 Plus I know how it&#8217;s configured.<\/p>\n<p>Keen readers (me), will remember the problems I had with the Apple Airport distress unit.\u00a0 The positive with the AP was the free update to 802.11n spec.\u00a0 Still this was more unreliable, though a general concensus with Apple wireless is it&#8217;s o.k., not great.<\/p>\n<p>Still at least wireless isn&#8217;t as shite as bluetooth.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So as title, I find wireless to be a bit of hit\/miss technology.\u00a0\u00a0 Maybe it&#8217;s just my kit, but it fails too often for my liking.
