{"id":401,"date":"2008-09-26T22:32:40","date_gmt":"2008-09-26T22:32:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kebablog.co.uk\/?p=401"},"modified":"2009-08-14T13:40:16","modified_gmt":"2009-08-14T13:40:16","slug":"things-ive-learnt-this-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.kebablog.co.uk\/?p=401","title":{"rendered":"Things I&#8217;ve learnt this week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Quite a busy week for me.\u00a0 Done a couple of social things and was generally quite busy with work and stuff.<\/p>\n<p>So things learnt.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Moo Cards &#8211; small business cards which look smart (thanks Jo!)<\/li>\n<li>Canadian Lumber Standard (CLS) &#8211; wood, decent constructional timber (thanks Jewsons)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>O.k I admit it&#8217;s not a huge list, but at least I learnt something.<\/p>\n<p>Found that <a title=\"Moo cards\" href=\"http:\/\/www.moo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Moo cards<\/a> can be bought for \u00a39.99 (+\u00a33.50 P&amp;P) &#8211; So I bought them, with 11 of my images (was going to be 10, but for some reason upload too many).\u00a0 Hopefully the all import text at the back works.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve referenced my company &#8211; BCG Media Limited, rather than my photography site.\u00a0 I suppose that&#8217;s probably the best thing to do.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;d think timber is timber, well it is sort of.\u00a0 It&#8217;s wood afterall, so where does CLS come in.\u00a0 It&#8217;s construction grade timber, ie fairly straight.\u00a0 I had a look at the rough cut wood and that curved more than a curvy thing\u00a0 with weights at the end.<\/p>\n<p>So there you have it, 2 things learnt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Quite a busy week for me.\u00a0 Done a couple of social things and was generally quite busy with work and stuff.
