Mmmmm,\u00a0 difficult one really.\u00a0 After all I owe everything I currently own to my profession.\u00a0 But I’m getting bored of it.\u00a0\u00a0 So looking a moving into what I’d really love to do, photography.\u00a0 Now comes the other stumbling block (or three).<\/p>\n

I don’t know what I want to shoot.\u00a0 After all I have so many options to choose.\u00a0 Now people\/modelling isn’t my thing, so at least that’s ruled out.\u00a0 Now sports is something that does interest me.\u00a0 However sports required a serious investment in kit (thinking 1D Mark II N and a minimum of a 400mm lens – Currently around 5k’s worth).<\/p>\n

Qualifications wise for photography, I haven’t got any.\u00a0 So a thing to try is the Amateur Photography Diploma.\u00a0 It costs a very reasonable \u00a3300, but I’m wondering how recognised it is.\u00a0 Still it’ll get my photography skills up to scratch and hopefully technically better.<\/p>\n

A lottery win might help, so here’s looking for that (in fairness I haven’t checked my tickets for the last month – still I think I can guarantee the outcome)<\/p>\n

Motivation is currently a big stumbling block.\u00a0 I need to get out of this rut of being busy for the sake of being busy and actually do stuff.\u00a0 Today I did go and take a few shots, the aircraft ones were fine.\u00a0 The sun shots were, well rushed and it showed.\u00a0 Still got up and took pictures.\u00a0 Tomorrow morning (this morning actually), I’ll be heading into Birmingham to shop.\u00a0 The 5D will be with me, so I’ll endeavour to bag some shots.<\/p>\n
