<\/p>\nIt’s only been 3 months since the big switch and now I’ve gone a bought a second Mac. Well a MacBook to be precise. Why?, well the old HP laptop was getting a little tired. Can’t complain as it was free, only thing I did was upgrade the memory. Anyway that’s past, the future is here (o.k. that’s cobblers).<\/p>\n

Why the MacBook instead of a PC laptop. Well I guess I can say I’ve definitely switched, seems there is no going back. I like OS X, it has some quirks but in time I’ll get over them (still think Finder is crap). I decided on the MacBook instead of the pro mainly due to size. Also probably the overriding factor was the fact it was half the price.<\/p>\n
Haven’t really used it a lot at the moment, though been using Lightroom beta a lot more. The extra processing power over the MacMini seems to help it. Overall impressed, it’s fairly quiet. Fans do kick in a bit when using PS\/Lightroom but that is expected. It seems to cope very well with Parallels\/XP.<\/p>\n

My only gripe is the lack of 2 mouse buttons, though this is rectified by either holding the button down or pressing on the mouse pad and button. In time I’ll get used to it.<\/p>\n
All I need to do now is get a suitable bag, currently waiting for Jessops to get a Stealth Reporter 550aw for me to try. I’ve looked at the 400 and 650 and would like to try in between.<\/p>\n
