The Rea Garden, I&#8217;m on a mailing list for info and I do get the emails.  However I didn&#8217;t really know where it was to be honest.  I did however stumble across it on Sunday and found the exhibition &#8216;Shipwrecked: My Life for a Bag&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Now I&#8217;m not a follower of art (or do I pretend to understand much of it), but there&#8217;s something alluring about an abandoned building and lots of plastic bags.<\/p>\n<p>So I took pictures&#8230;&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.scphoto.co.uk\/pages\/galleries\/projects\/pictures\/art_shipwrecked_1.jpg\" alt=\"Bags\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.scphoto.co.uk\/pages\/galleries\/projects\/pictures\/art_shipwrecked_2.jpg\" alt=\"Bags\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.scphoto.co.uk\/pages\/galleries\/projects\/pictures\/art_shipwrecked_3.jpg\" alt=\"Bags\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.scphoto.co.uk\/pages\/galleries\/projects\/pictures\/art_shipwrecked_4.jpg\" alt=\"Bags\" width=\"400\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The installation is the work of the artist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.claudiaborgna.keepfree.de\">Claudia Borgna<\/a> and does indeed involve a lot of white bin bags.   Claudia can often be seen in and around the installation, so if you want to ask questions I&#8217;m sure she&#8217;ll be happy to answer them (I guess, I don&#8217;t know, but she certainly was happy to speak to me).   The installation is only here for a few more days, as it closes on Sunday 28th March.  I&#8217;m hoping maybe to pop up and have a go at slow shutter speeds to get a bit of movement in the images.   Claudia was happy for me to take pictures and requested that she was mentioned when displaying them (which I&#8217;m very happy to do, thanks Claudia).<\/p>\n<p>The Rea Garden is located at 1-8 Floodgate Street, Birmingham B5.
