So off to the flash centre I went to spend money (actually my companies money &#8211; so sort of mine).  \u00a3200 lighter I&#8217;m now the proud owner of:<\/p>\n<p>2x Manfrotto 001B Flash stand<\/p>\n<p>2x Manfrotto Flash<\/p>\n<p>2x Elinchrom Silver umbrella<\/p>\n<p>and I bought a Stofen diffuser as well.<\/p>\n<p>I really should go on a flash course as well, but being me I&#8217;ll try the manual methods first.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kebablog.co.uk\/blogpics\/eyes.jpg\" alt=\"Eyes\" align=\"left\" border=\"1\" height=\"300\" hspace=\"10\" vspace=\"10\" width=\"450\" \/>First test is with one flash (assume with brolly) on my right (image left side) set normally.  The other flash behind me, but pointing away to the background.  As I wanted a bright background I set the rear flash to +3 exposure.  Seems to have worked.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kebablog.co.uk\/blogpics\/twinflash.jpg\" alt=\"Twin Flash\" align=\"left\" border=\"1\" height=\"300\" hspace=\"10\" vspace=\"10\" width=\"450\" \/>This is me just messing about.  No need to explain the setup here.  Both flashes firing at the normal exposure rate -\/+0.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kebablog.co.uk\/blogpics\/twinflash2.jpg\" alt=\"Twin Flash\" align=\"left\" border=\"1\" height=\"300\" hspace=\"10\" vspace=\"10\" width=\"450\" \/> Same setup again, just me ducking down to play with the MacBook.
